Our Programs

Our mission is to support sustainability and biodiversity stewardship in community animal welfare, equity in scientific representation, youth global awareness and experiences, and education access.

    Community Animal Welfare

Global Vistas is dedicated to improving the lives of community cats and dogs by supporting free or low-cost veterinary care for established clinics providing spaying/neutering, vaccinations and chipping, emergency treatment, and adoption services. We believe that these animals deserve compassion and protection.

    Equity in Science

We support range-country scientists and students engaged in critical conservation and biodiversity research in low/middle income countries to travel to international meetings to present their research in a global forum, or to participate in other organized international experiences that emphasize networking and sharing of ideas.

    Youth Global Awareness

Responsible global citizenship starts with understanding different perspectives, cultures and traditions. We support opportunities for university students at public minority-serving institutions to participate in university-sponsored study abroad immersion programs with a focus on sustainability or conservation education.

    Education Access

We are committed to breaking down barriers to education, ensuring that every individual has the opportunity to learn and grow. Our programs focus on sustainability and/or conservation education in underserved communities at both the K-12 and University levels, fostering a brighter and more hopeful future for all.
